Electric Life replacement motors come in left hand drive and right hand drive.  The drive orientation refers to the physical orientation of the drive gear on the motor. For example, a right hand drive means that with the window motor laying on table with its drive gear facing up, the drive gear is offset to the right side of the motor.   It does not refer to drivers or passengers side window regulator.  You must look at the motor on the regulator to order the correct unit.
